Scotty’s Small Plant Hire opened at 72 Victoria Road in August 1996 to provide a convenient location for the hire of small plant. The location proved so successful that we have seen two more small plant hire companies opening their doors in Victoria Road in recent years! Toe-it Trailer Hire which also operates from 72 Victoria Road was started by the original founders of Scotty’s and purchased by Craig in February 2003. When Scotty’s Small Plant Hire came up for sale in July 2007, Craig took it over and has grown it successfully despite the tough competition.
